Mandatory procurement and capacity components

Based on the government decision, new mandatory and capacity procurement components enter into force from 1 July 2018. From that day onwards, the capacity component, which forms part of the mandatory procurement components (MPC), will be lower for all end users of electricity, regardless of the type of connection.

The total payment for the MPC for all electricity consumers will consist of two parts, where one will be fixed and the other will vary in proportion to electricity consumption.

The variable part (the mandatory procurement component) will be formed in proportion to consumed electricity - 0.01463 EUR/kWh (excluding VAT).

The fixed part (the capacity component) depends on the voltage level of the electricity connection and the consumption group.

Voltage level Consumers' consumption group Capacity component unit Capacity component
0.4 kV lines A single phase connection with current value of inlet protection device up to 40A EUR/year 8,69
0.4 kV lines A three phase connection of all allowed loads EUR/A/ year 6,28

0.4 kV busbars A three phase connection with current value of inlet protection device from 201A up to 800A, inclusive EUR/A/ year 6,12
0.4 kV busbars A three phase connection with current value of inlet protection device from 801A EUR/A/ year 7,20
6-20 kV lines All allowed loads EUR/kW/ year 12,32
6-20 kV busbars All allowed loads EUR/kW/ year 16,10
110 kV lines Users whose borderline of ownership of electrical devices is on 110 kV lines EUR/kW/ year 3,94
110 kV busbars Users whose borderline of ownership of electrical devices is on 110 kV busbars EUR/kW/ year 4,70
