Energy efficiency is one of the signposts of the sustainability of Latvenergo. The Elektrum Energy Efficiency Centre has been operating under the auspices of Latvenergo since 1997. It is the only centre of this kind in the Baltic states and it provides targeted education to the public and businesses on the rational use and management of energy resources. The Energy Efficiency Centre is also a platform where industry professionals come together to discuss and share experiences on the latest developments in the area of energy efficiency.

The competencies accumulated by Energy Efficiency Centre experts, years of research and proven recommendations provided by them are regularly used by households, businesses, public administration bodies and educational institutions.

The Energy Efficiency Centre offers free advice on:

• corporate energy management,
• lighting, heating and ventilation solutions,
• the use of renewable energy sources,
• electric vehicles and charging options thereof,
• innovative technologies for increasing energy efficiency.

The Elektrum Energy Efficiency Centre also offers a guest lecture or training by an energy-efficiency expert for your employees, as well as an interactive e-learning course for educating your employees on energy efficiency. The Energy Efficiency Centre organises educational seminars and webinars, as well as the experts of the centre regularly participate in various industry conferences and give lectures on sustainable solutions and energy efficiency at the largest companies of Latvia.

Events, seminars, training and expert consultations organised by the Energy Efficiency Centre are free of charge for every stakeholder.
