Outdoor lighting fixtures should be checked regularly to ensure that the wires are not disconnected from the fixtures. If significant damage is found, the luminaire must not be used, even if it is still working.
To help direct the light in the desired direction, the bulb, as well as other parts of the appliance (if permissible in accordance with the user manual), should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth.
