For Home Safety Insurance combines property insurance against fire risks related to electrical wiring and electrical appliances with a 24/7 emergency assistance by easily accessible technicians – an electrician, a plumber, a carpenter or a key service, just a phone call away. The service is only available to Elektrum customers with an active electricity contract.

Benefits of Home Security Insurance 

  1. Fire risk insurance, if the fire was caused by electrical wiring or appliances – up to EUR 10,000 in indemnity, with no deductible;
  2. Damage to electrical appliances as a result of an electrical fault – up to EUR 1,000 in indemnity; drafting of a defect report for the damaged electrical appliances and transportation thereof to/from the repair service;
  3. 24/7 support by certified technicians:

- electrician – a consultation and repair of wiring defects;
- plumber – assistance in the event of leaking liquids;
- carpenter – help in the event of a damaged roof, window or fence;
- key service – repair of locks, opening of the doors, if keys are lost.

Assistance in the event of damage to electrical appliances caused by power supply interference, emergency assistance at any time of the day from professional and certified electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and locksmiths, as well as up to EUR 10,000 in indemnity in the event of fire caused by electrical wiring or electrical equipment.

    • For a residential building, an apartment and property therein – maximum limit of indemnity per insured event:
 10 000 EUR
  • Of this total limit, up to EUR 2,500 may be applied to ancillary premises, ancillary buildings and property therein.
