The service “Wiring check” includes a check of the technical condition of the wiring – both visually and using specialised measuring equipment. The master inspects sockets, switches, wires and other components of the wiring to ensure their safe operation and compliance with safety requirements.
Why might this service be useful?
According to Cabinet Regulation No. 238 “Fire Safety Regulations”, a wiring check in a household must be carried out every 10 years, as well as when commissioning a house.
However, there are other situations when a check is particularly important in the interim:
- Power outage for unknown reasons or regular blowing of fuses;
- Overheating of sockets, light switches or wires, or “electric shocks” when touched;
- Unstable voltage in the home, for example, electrical twitching or malfunctioning electrical appliances;
- Unexplained increase in electricity consumption due to current leakage.
The wiring check includes:
- Wiring insulation resistance check;
- Loop phase-neutral total resistance check;
- Earthing device resistance and earthing uninterruptedness link resistance check;
- Check of wiring contact connections using a thermal camera;
- Preparation of a check report signed by a certified specialist.
Upon the check, detailed and transparent wiring check documentation is prepared, fully compliant with all applicable regulations.
