1. The maintenance service is provided for: gas atmospheric boilers, combined gas boilers, condensing boilers, and gas burner boilers.

2. The maintenance service is provided in: Riga, Jūrmala, Mārupe Municipality (Babīte, Piņķi, Spilve, Spuņciems, Mārupe, Jaunmārupe, Skulte, Tīraine, Vētras), Olaine Municipality (Olaine, Jaunolaine, Stūnīši), Ķekava Municipality (Ķekava, Baloži, Daugmale, Baldone), Salaspils Municipality (Salaspils, Saulkalne, Acone, Cekule, Dole, Mežezeri, Stopiņi), Ropaži Municipality (Ropaži, Zaķumuiža, Silakrogs, Mucenieki, Tumšupe, Kākciems, Garkalne, Upesciems, Langstiņi, Sunīši, Bukulti, Vangaži, Ulbroka, Dreiliņi, Saurieši, Upeslejas, Vālodzes, Līči, Dzidriņas, Rumbula, Cekule), Ādaži Municipality (Ādaži, Baltezers, Kadaga, Garkalne, Stapriņi, Carnikava, Kalngale, Garciems, Garupe, Lilaste), Ogre Municipality (Ikšķile, Tīnuži, Ogre).

3. The maintenance service is provided on weekdays, during working hours from 9.00-18.00 If the service is provided outside working hours (weekdays 18.00-9.00, Saturdays, Sundays), an extra charge of EUR 24.20 (incl. VAT) applies. Maintenance service is not provided on public holidays.

4. Duration of maintenance service: 1-1.5 hours (if no additional problems are detected).

5. The maintenance service is provided by Enerģija-G; the date and time of the service is to be arranged by contacting the customer.

6. Maintenance service includes:

•    inspection and cleaning of the boiler heat exchanger and burner;
•    checking the tightness of the water and gas supply parts;
•    checking of water fitting and gas fitting filters;
•    inspection of pilot light and safety devices;
•    cleaning and inspection of ignition electrodes, control electrodes and photocells and, if necessary, replacement (parts are not included in the cost);
•    adjustment of gas in accordance with the instructions;
•    checking the ignition of the burners when the boiler is started, if necessary, adjusting the starting power;
•    visual inspection of the flue gas path to the chimney;
•    checking the expansion tank, if necessary, measuring the initial pressure of the tank, filling;
•    adjustment of the CO2 concentration in the flue gas according to the instructions (for condensing boilers);
•    adjustment of the combustion process with a flue gas analyser (condensing boilers and gas burner boilers);
•    cleaning of burner and fan, replacement of gaskets if necessary (parts are not included in the cost);
•    inspection of the condensate siphon for condensing boilers;
•    checking the air supply and flue gas extraction;
•    visual inspection of boiler room piping;
•    inspection of flue gas shut-off device;
•    inspection, testing of three-way and four-way mixers and their drives;
•    checking the operation of heating pumps;
•    inspection, testing of heating system fittings;
•    refilling of the heating system, if necessary;
•    instructing and training for the customer on heating automation;
•    checking of control automatics and adjustment of parameters.

7. Maintenance service does not include:
•    repair of heating equipment or system and replacement of defective parts. Spare parts and work are provided at an additional cost by mutual agreement with Enerģija-G;
•    cleaning of the chimney – done by a certified chimney sweep.

8. After the maintenance service has been received, an Acceptance-Transfer Deed is signed.

What do I need to do to change my natural gas trader and sign a natural gas contract with Elektrum?

If you want to conclude a natural gas sales contract with Elektrum, the easiest way to do this is to use the calculator in the portal, find the product that suits you and click on “Conclude a contract”. We will take care of all the formalities related to changing the natural gas trader.

If you submit an application for the conclusion of a contract by the 15th of the month, the contract will take effect on the 1st day of the following month. However, if you submit the application after the 16th, we will be able to conclude the contract on the 1st of the month after the next month.

Do I need to contact my previous natural gas trader if I want to switch my natural gas to Elektrum?

When you conclude a natural gas contract with us, the contract with the previous trader for this object will be terminated automatically.

Is it possible to switch to Elektrum natural gas if I have overpaid with another trader?

If you have overpaid your previous natural gas supplier, this is not an obstacle to switching to us. When you switch, you must report the actual meter reading to your previous supplier. This reading will also start your natural gas contract with us. If you pay over this meter reading, you can contact your previous trader for a refund of the overpayment.
